Buses are mostly used for local transport, they are extensive and they are fairly comfortable, fast, reliable and cheap.

By Car

Belgium's roads are very well sought after and car-hire establishments are commonplace. Belgium accepts most foreign drivers licenses such as, Australia, Canada, the EU, and the US. Speed limits are 120kph on motorways, 90kph on main roads, and 50kph elsewhere. Fuel in Belgium costs around 1 euro per liter.

Biking is a popular method of transport in Belgium, and many roads have bike lanes, which you are required to use. Hitchhiking is illegal and uncommon in Belgium.
